Shark IQ

Configuration

To add the Shark IQ hub to your Home Assistant instance, use this My button:

Manual configuration steps

If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

  • Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

  • Go to Settings > Devices & services.

  • In the bottom right corner, select the Add Integration button.

  • From the list, select Shark IQ.

  • Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.

  • Clean room (sharkiq.clean_room) Cleans a specific user-defined room or set of rooms.

The currently supported Vacuum actions are:

  • vacuum.start
  • vacuum.pause
  • vacuum.stop
  • vacuum.return_to_base
  • vacuum.locate
  • vacuum.set_fan_speed

Troubleshooting

Integration Disconnecting

If the integration frequently disconnects and you have an ad blocker runner like Pi-hole or AdGuard add ads-field.aylanetworks.com to the Allow list . This domain is needed for the connection and can be part of the automatic blocking because of ads being part of the subdomain.

If pause does not work for you, then it is not supported by your vacuum. The stop action will provide similar functionality.
